The Cognos Disclosure Users want to hold the data range constant without having to worry about new data being added to data source. The below will describe a technique to hold the data range the same even if new rows are added to the data sources. Hint: Data sources can change as such this method provides a way for users to keep integrity of their report, especially if they are basing the report on the same data source.
Example 1 - Data Source - holding the data range constant Figure 1 shows a sample of accounts and values from a data source. The data source will be included as part of the report object. The technique describes allows users to hold the range as part of keeping the integrity of report.
