DEFYING THE ODDS KELE MOON PDF

Defying the Odds Battered Hearts 1 14 Kele Moon Clay leaned against the mop as he admired the way Melody looked bent over the sink, still elbow-deep in the steaming water. I can see my reflection in those tiles. All we got to eat back at the house are a buncha microwave meals and protein drinks. Clay started mopping as he thought about the answer. The house was real lonely after Big Fred died, just weird feeling without him.

He is idolized, but without real relationships, except his two best friends, Wyatt and Jules. It was more than her lush figure and beautiful smile. It was her soul that called out to him. Being around her felt like coming home. He could smile around her. He could laugh and feel normal in a way he never anticipated with anyone. Melody and Clay both are lonely, and are about quitting the fight: Clay literally, from his career, Melody figuratively, from her fight of hiding, struggling, being strong.

Plot The beginning was nice. I enjoyed the elongated phase of longing for each other. But later everything was rushed, not only the events, but the emotions as well. Sometimes I felt I missed something, the descriptions were too long, and thoughts were repeated.

The ending was great again, nicely frames the story. The story has its good features, but it is far from perfect.

Defying the Odds

He eyed the attractive blonde in surprise. He swallowed hard, choosing instead to focus on the warm feeling in his chest. He was oddly touched by the gift, simple though it might be. With the exception of his best friends, Wyatt and Jules, this waitress was the first person in a very long time that bothered to do something nice for him without expecting him to sweat or bleed in return. He liked the pretty waitress with her sparkling eyes and thick hair wrapped up in a bun on top of her head that showed every color of blonde imaginable. He thought her glasses were charming and her figure was lush. Full hips, even fuller breasts, she looked sort of like a very huggable angel.
